Commission and any. other matter” so that he. would have been aware. of all the facts before. making a decision such. as reappointing someone. to be dismissed. less than 72 hours later.

“Something is clearly. wrong with his whole. modus operandi as it. relates to gathering evidence. and information. before taking decisions. and engaging in actions.

It reminds me. of the JLSC fiasco,” he. said. Mark said Rowley. in his hour-long press. conference on Monday. “failed to give a proper. explanation regarding. the reappointment of. the Port of Spain South. MP as a minister and. her subsequent dismissal. just three days. later.” He said Rowley,. instead, “chose to. shamelessly attack the. Integrity Commission,. an independent institution. as well as the Police. Service over the pace of. investigations.”. “He is deflecting and. scapegoating the Integrity. Reiterating the Opposition’s. call for Rowley. to remove himself. from office and seek a. fresh mandate, Mark. said, citizens are reeling. from escalating crime,. inclusive of unprecedented. murders and a. resumption of kidnappings,. job losses, the. unavailability of medicines. in health institutions. and a deepening. and deteriorating economic. crisis.
