6 in court on fraud charges

Rommel Ganaram of El Guanapo Estate, Rio Claro; Totaram Sookoo of Old Mayaro Trace, Libertyville, Rio Claro; Anthony Mohammed of Cipero Road, Borde Narve; Ricardo Ramdhanie of Blitz Village, Pleasantville, San Fernando; Glenwyn Joseph of Le Platte Village, Morne Coco Road Maraval; and Tamik Toussaint of Ninth Street Barataria, all appeared before Magistrate Christine Charles in the First Court, charged with the of fences.

They are alleged to have conspired to defraud Trinre Insurance on July 12. The six were represented by attorneys Shaun Teekasingh, Glen Bhagwansingh, Brent Ali and Sterlin Joseph.

They will return to court on August 14.
