La Brea suspect interviewed by homicide officers

The La Brea man has been in custody since last Friday night having been arrested shortly after the fatal shooting which investigators believe was accidental.

It is believed the young man was playing with the weapon when it went off killing Alexander instantly.

Police have also interviewed other people who were with Alexander and the suspect at Alexander’s home in Sobo Village, La Brea.

An autopsy at the Forensic Science Centre, St James on Tuesday revealed he died from a single bullet to his chest.

Yesterday Patricia Quashie who is still trying to come to terms with the death of her son told Newsday funeral arrangements have not yet been finalised.
