Pistol, ammo, ganja seized

A press release from the Police Service stated officers conducted the exercise between 11 pm and 3 am. When they proceeded to Morne Coco Road in Maraval, they conducted a search in some bushes along a river bank near the Maraval Community Centre.

The search resulted in the discovery of a black and silver Taurus pistol, the round of ammunition and three zip-lock bags containing a total of 27 grammes of marijuana.

No arrest was made.
