Newborn off to RightStart
Weighing 3.52 kg, son of Curt Ballah and Betty Hamilton, and yet to be named, holds the distinction of being Trinidad and Tobago’s first born at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital for 2004. Betty Hamilton already has five girls and one boy, so the new baby is the second boy of the family. As has become customary, a Republic Bank representative was on hand to congratulate mother and child, and present the New Year baby with a RightStart Gift Certificate for $1,000.
This year, the bank presented the mother with a hamper full of useful baby items, courtesy Johnson and Johnson and a congratulatory certificate for a Kiss Dessert Cake courtesy of Kiss Baking Company Ltd for the baby’s christening or for any other suitable occasion. The newborn is the first child in 2004 to join the RightStart savings plan, which is open to persons under the age of 19. A RightStart account can help build savings and assist young people in facing the future with a plan, whether a child, teenager or young adult. RightStarters can benefit from an attractive interest rate, free banking and can avail themselves of attractive discount offers at Republic Bank RightStart merchants nationwide. Account holders also automatically qualify to become members of the exclusive RightStart Club and participate in its ongoing exciting Club activities.
