Teen critical after chopping
AN ARIMA teenager is in critical condition at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital after being chopped on his head and neck in what has been described as a drug related attack. According to reports, at around 11.30 pm Saturday, Raymond Alibocas responded to the cries of his son Daniel, 15, coming from the roof of their Guanapo Road, Arima, home and found him covered in blood.
All the entrances to the house were secured and no one was seen entering or leaving the premises but accusing fingers are being pointed at a young man from the area with whom the injured teen recently had a confrontation over drugs. “I don’t have anything to hide, my son dropped out of school and began doing drugs,” the elder Alibocas told Newsday. “Whenever he smokes his stuff, he goes on the roof to chill out.” Cpl Emmanuel of the Arima police is spearheading inquiries.
