PNM hits Yetming over Lee Chin talk

THE PNM has condemned the statements made by UNC MP Gerald Yetming about an alleged bribe to Jamaican business tycoon Michael Lee Chin as calculated to discourage both foreign and local investment. It has called on the UNC to be more civic-minded to maintain the integrity of the nation. A statement issued by the PNM’s PRO, Jerry Narace, said the behaviour of all UNC MPs was “disrespectful and dishonest, which does not conduce well to the well-being of the nation.” Narace said it was now clear that they were following in the footsteps of their “rejected” political leader, Basdeo Panday, and “at best can be described as a failed group of politicians fighting to revive and mobilise a collapsed party through misinformation and the promotion of crime.”
