Group calls for return of abducted woman
THE TRINIDAD and Tobago Association for the Hearing Impaired has expressed deep concern and is “very worried” about the whereabouts of 20-year-old Annesher Rangoo, an ex-pupil of one of its schools. Annesher is one of three members of a family who were attacked by a masked man at their Dow Village, California home early Monday morning. Annesher was abducted and has not been seen since. According to the association, Annesher is profoundly hearing-impaired and will experience problems with communication as well as additional trauma which could lead to severe depression. The association is appealing to the person or persons responsible for her abduction for the prompt and safe release of Annesher. It said the entire disabled community is negatively affected by the unfortunate circumstance and joins in the plea for her safe return.
