Ten held in Laventille raid

TEN persons were arrested yesterday in an early morning raid in Laventille. According to reports, members, of the Port-of-Spain Inter Agency Task Force, led by ASP Alfred Sealy and coordinated by Ag Insp Sahadeo Singh, went to several houses in the area armed with search warrants. Five were held for outstanding warrants and five others for robberies. The raid was conducted sometime between the hours of 2 am and 7 am. The ten will appear before a Port-of-Spain magistrate tomorrow.
