Kaiso Karavan Rolls Out

The Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation East Zone Tent — Kaiso Karavan will kick off its 2004 season today at the La Joya Complex from 8.30 pm.

Over the years Kaiso Karavan has been churning out very good shows throughout the country as one of the few “roving tents.” They have no plans to change their “modus operandi” as they have earmarked Sangre Grande, Plaisance Park, Bon Air West, Talparo, Matura, North Manzanilla and Maracas, St Joseph  for shows.

The tent boasts of calypsonians like Explainer, Johnny King, Keranga Mandela, Power, Blakie, Gary Cordner, Stinger, Dirty Curty, Lady Paula, Sweet Jean, Eunice Peters, Sheldon Nugget and Eric James among others. Music will be supplied by The Ruiz Brothers with vocals by Karavan Gems. Kaiso Karavan will be at La Joya nightly from Wednesday January 28 until Saturday January 31. On Sunday the tent moves to North Eastern College, Sangre Grande.
