Mom sues NWRHA over son

A WOMAN has sued the North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA) and the Attorney General for damages for injury in the treatment and delivery of her son four years ago.

Mary Ramdeen, who lives at the corner of Nelson and Queen Streets, St Joseph, is claiming damages for injury and loss sustained in the treatment and delivery of her son, Adrian, between January 20 and February 2, 2000, at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mount Hope. The writ was filed in the San Fernando High Court Registry last week by attorney Garnet Mungalsingh. Ramdeen’s case will be argued by Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj SC.
