Kissinger to visit TT
FORMER US Secretary of State, Dr Henry Kissinger, will visit Trinidad and Tobago tomorrow for a two-day visit. Dr Kissinger will meet with Prime Minister Patrick Manning at Whitehall and the two men will discuss a range of global and US-TT issues, in particular US energy security. Kissinger held several key positions in the American government including Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs and Consultant to the Department of State. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1973 for his role in arranging a ceasefire in Vietnam. Kissinger will leave TT on Friday.
