‘Police’ raid house, steal $1,500 in items
THREE armed bandits, pretending to be policemen, stormed a La Brea home over the weekend, terrorising the occupants before making off with more than $1,500 in cash and jewelry. According to police reports, Crystal Jadoo, 19, was at her Bush Park home in La Brea with her mother-in-law around 8.30 pm, when three armed men entered the house shouting, “police, police, we come for the drugs and money.” A shaken Jadoo told police one of the men held both her mother-in-law and herself at gunpoint, while the others ransacked the house and took $600 in cash and $950 worth of jewelry and several important documents.
