Prayers for Vijay at school

A HINDU prayer service will be held for kidnap victim Vijay Persad at his school — Robert Village Hindu School — during the second week of the new school term. This is the second service to be held at the school since the ten-year-old child was abducted from his Indian walk home in Moruga on June 21. Vijay would have been in Standard Five. A school official said the service was being held on Thursday to pray for his safe return and to remind the nation that they have not forgotten him. Police investigating his kidnapping still have no clue about his whereabouts.
