Murder suspect ducks cops, dogs
After 12 hours, two dogs from the Police Canine Division were unable to find the murder suspect wanted for killing mother of three, Kathyann Glasgow, on Sunday evening in Toco. According to reports, despite hours spent in the bushes along the Palm Street Junction Toco area on Tuesday, police failed to come up with a clue about the whereabouts of the 26-year-old Cumana man. The suspect is alleged to have fatally stabbed Glasgow several times in her chest at a pub on Palm Street Junction, where she was liming with friends. The man with whom she had a “very stormy” relationship had accused her of being unfaithful, and when he confronted her Sunday, he became enraged. After stabbing her, the man ran into some nearby bushes and police have been searching for him since. Residents of the area are also on the look-out, and are looking at the possibility that the man may commit suicide. Police said they will continue to search until the suspect is found. Autopsy results confirmed Glasgow died from a ruptured lung. Cpl Wight is investigating.
