‘TV for everyone’
Although this TV service is relatively new to TSTT, the company is all about making TV accessible to all through its Blink services which also affords customers the opportunity to get Internet, security alarms and landline services.
The recently launched Blink Starter Package has come on the market as the most comprehensive grouping of programming genres for just $199. Among the 125-plus channels in the lineup includes all of the local channel staples, Zee TV, BET and MTV music channels, Lifetime, Cinecanal and Turner Classic Hollywood movie channels, news channels BBC and CNN and KIDS are not left out with a large lineup of content including Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and Discovery Kids among others.
The Pew Research Centre reported in June that in spite of all of the Internetbased alternatives for entertainment, some of the main news networks like CNN have been able to reverse a three-year trend bringing higher numbers of people to primetime and daytime news programming.
Consumers obviously see these and an important tool for a quick and concise dose of news and current affairs. Some of the other top rated channels that form part of the Blink Starter Package include HGTV, TBS, History Channel, TNT LA, Discovery and ESPN along with National Geographic and The Food Network.
“Blink is all about the entertainment and learning experience available to all” says Camille Campbell, the Chief Marketing Officer at TSTT.
“Our market’s strong mix of cosmopolitan and traditional tastes do not discretely fall within neat geographic boundaries. We have some of the most inquisitive minds in customers spread throughout the length and breadth of the country.” Campbell explained that Blink’s strategy is, while other providers focus on just one type of technology to serve concentrations of customers, Blink’s hybrid of fibre and high-speed wireless technology serves customers in densely populated centres as well as the less populated areas.
“The superior IPTV technology used by Blink also gives customers with high definition TV’s the benefit of seeing even standard definition content crystal clear and in brilliant colour. We shall also be soon announcing a greatly expanded HD channel listing which be great news for customers,” said Campbell.
