Illegal alcohol seized

A Coast Guard statement said, “At approximately 10.02 am on August 15, an interceptor vessel of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard was on routine patrol and effected the boarding of a pirogue named Shark five nautical miles north of Entrada Point, with two occupants on board.” The vessel and its occupants, the statement added, were brought back to Coast Guard Headquarters, Staubles Bay, where thorough searches were conducted. The illegal alcohol was discovered and the two occupants were detained.
