Couple nabbed for break-in

According to reports, Keston Alexander, the caretaker of the beach house, secured the premises owned by Imran Ali. On returning at 6.30 pm, he observed the couple climbing over a fence. Alexander alerted the Mayaro police who responded promptly and discovered that the beach house had been broken into and a quantity of valuables stolen.

The couple was intercepted and some of the stolen items recovered.

They are to be placed on an ID parade following a series of break-ins at guest houses in the Mayaro district.
