‘Baby Hulk’ is Trinidad’s Ultimate Ninja Warrior

John, who stunned the crowd in the final with his strength and agility, received his $10,000 prize yesterday morning from Ninja Warrior Creative Director Christine Attong at Ninja Warrior Headquarters, Stanmore Avenue, Port of Spain. The first prize was sponsored by Rock Hard Cement.

John, less than 24 hours after his victory, was still ecstatic and is already looking forward to spending this money on his trip for two courtesy Caribbean Airlines which he also won. He was also presented with a Ninja Warrior blender courtesy Hand Arnold.

John said he will be back in January to defend his title and got a bit dizzy upon hearing that the grand prize would be a car.

Placing second on Sunday was Nail Abdul--Adel in one minute 54 seconds while Lori Adams came third in two minutes 11 seconds.

Just 10 of 39 contestants completed Sunday’s course with three disqualified and the remainder did not finish.

From fourth to 10th were Donald Koo (two minutes 31 seconds), Sheldon Gittens (two minutes 51 seconds), Simon Francois (three minutes 10 seconds), Javan Lynch (three minutes 19 seconds), John Friedli (three minutes 54 seconds), Noel Shakeem ( four minutes eight seconds), David Mitchell (four minutes 22 seconds).
