Reform Hindu PTA protests for new school

Sabinath says since 2014 works started for the rebuilding of a school. “We were promised that this project would last nine months and this did not happen,” she said, adding that the opening of the school was postponed several times before. Sabinath says the new school, which is located close to the old school, is eighty five percent complete.

According to Sabinath, all that is needed is for the electricity and water connections to be installed .They also need school-furniture and a proper playground for sporting activities.

The present population of the Reform Hindu School is 153. The old school was built sixty-four years ago and is no longer fit to house the students. Sabinath says there are two toilets in this school and there is always a long line at lunch time when students have to use the toilet. Parents want an update from the authorities on new Reform Hindu School.

President of the PTA Renuka Singh appealed to Government to open this school so that the children of Reform Village can gain their education at a proper facility.
