Dad who got bail, returns to court

Facing charges of wilful neglect under the Children’s Act, Jerome will be represented by attorney Sheriza Khan.

Jerome had spent almost a month in jail due to complications accessing bail, even not being allowed to attend his son’s funeral.

The bail woes were eventually smoothed out by Harvey Borris, head of the Centre for Justice and the Black Caucus Movement, and Jerome was released on bail last week Friday.
