Man found dead... shotgun at his side

L ying next to the body was a shotgun, a police report stated. The man is of East Indian descent. It was reported that the discovery was made at 2.30 pm near one of Petrotrin’s oil well in the located near the west gate at Forest Reserve Road, Fyzabad.

The body was expected to be removed to the Forensic Science Centre, St James for autopsy at a later date. It is the third body found within the last four days in the south western division.

The other two bodies, since identified as Che Anderson Reid, 25, of Cunupia and Wazim Nabbie, 21, of La Romaine were seen floating in the Gulf of Paria over the weekend. The bodies subsequently washed ashore. Investigations are continuing.
