Gun found under bridge

Officers checked a specific area, then searched under a bridge off the street where they discovered a .38 special revolver, containing six rounds of ammunition. No one was arrested in connection to the find. PC Ward of the Western Division CID is continuing enquiries.

The firearm is to be sent to the Forensic Science Centre in St James for ballistic and fingerprint tests in an effort to gather evidence to make arrests.
