Road to Chag in bad way
I was shocked and amazed at the deplorable condition of the road, starting from Glencoe/Shorelands all the way to the school.
Numerous potholes adorn the road along with evident repairs that were not covered or paved as they should be, thereby causing drivers to slow down for fear of damaging their vehicles.
This caused long lines of traffic, literally bringing it to a crawl in both directions.
I wonder if the authorities are deliberately not repairing this road in order to curb accidents? And this was between noon and 4 pm.
I could only imagine what it was like after 5 pm when people from the boardwalk and down the islands were returning home.
A friend who works in Chaguaramas verified that the situation has been this way for a long time and on an ordinary work day he takes an hour or more to get out of there after 4 pm.
Seriously, something needs to be done about this unacceptable situation, if not for the sanity of commuters but simply for the sake of correctness.
Maybe we don’t have the money as it probably will be another multi-million- dollar project.
