Cocorite man shot and killed

According to reports, the victim, identified as 38-year-old Dominic Gregoire from Pitilal Road Waterhole, was with two other men at a construction site on Freedom Street, Cocorite, when they were approached by an armed assailant who opened fire on the group.

Gregoire was shot multiple times during the attack. He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

Western Division Police are continuing investigations.
