Parents, pay more attention to your kids

Parents are the ones to protect their children from the evil ones; they cannot protect themselves.

Too many children have been abused in all forms and fashion. Imagine a 14-year-old child is pregnant and a preacher is caught having sex with her.

Then there is the 18-year-old with three children for a “big man”.

Where are the parents in all of this? Parents continue to fail and disappoint their children.

Only last week three children suffered before death ended their pain, two by fire and one by murder. This should never have happen. That four-yearold little girl should have been alive today if she had gotten proper attention.

We cannot take everything for granted. If parents feel that something is not right, follow your gut. You cannot trust people with your children. Not everybody will like your children.

People need to be careful who they are bringing into their children’s lives.

Do not leave children unsupervised, that is playing Russian roulette with their lives. Parents, please put things in place when you have to go out, make some kind of arrangement with a friend, or a relative.

If you cannot find someone to supervise your children, take them with you. If you can’t take them with you, then stay home with them. Do not put their lives in danger.

This kind of thing is happening too much. These children did not get the opportunity to grow up because their lives were snuffed out before their time.

Remember that they did not ask to come here. Parents, children are a blessing, children are the heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward (Psalm 127: 3).
