Two drivers injured in accident

According to a police report, at about 1.30 pm, the security officer was driving a Ford Ranger pick-up van proceeding west along the Rivulet Road while the female driver was heading in the opposite direction.

There was a head on collision which resulted in both vehicles veering off the roadway. Fire officers of the Couva Fire Station responded and the victims were rushed to the Couva Health Facility where they were treated and transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital.
