Lock down in Laventille
Newsday understands that over 150 police and soldiers, led by Senior Superintendents Radcliffe Boxhill, Florice Hodge-Griffith and Simbonath Rajkumar, along with Assistant Superintendents Ajith Persad and Bailey, and officers of the Port-of-Spain Criminal Investigation Department, Inter Agency Task Force, K-9 Section and the Criminal Gang and Intelligence Unit cordoned off several areas of Laventille, including Beverley Hills.
