Motorists, be polite on roads

I was so disappointed as I watched a young man, his vehicle already in the middle of the road, exiting from a side street and no one giving him the opportunity to come fully unto the main road.

Instead, vehicle after vehicle went around him.

Then sometimes you stop, with a hand outstretched to alert the motorist behind you, to give people a chance to cross the road, only to receive a tongue-lashing and plenty horn from irate drivers.

Where is the politeness? Where is the respect from motorists? This kind of behaviour speaks volumes about an individual.

I remind all that you are not the only one using the road. Please be considerate of others. It takes little time to stop and allow someone to cross the street, to exit a side road, for someone to get into their vehicle or park properly.

Being polite on the road will only make us better people.
