President Richards resumes duties tomorrow
THREE days after being released from the St Clair Medical Centre, President George Maxwell Richards yesterday returned for a medical check-up and is expected to return to official duties tomorrow. The President’s visit to the centre early yesterday was very brief, after which he returned home to rest. President’s House confirmed the “routine check-up,” saying there was nothing to worry about. The President was warded at the centre for four days last week, after complaining of chest pains. He was released on Sunday and is recuperating and working at home. President’s House said he is expected to return to official duties tomorrow.
