Tobago duo in Junior Calypso team

The duo is Aniecia Baptiste and Jeresia McEachrane.

Ex-Calypso Girls netball captain Rhonda John-Davis will lead the Junior Calypso Girls challenge for honours.

John-Davis will coach the 12-member team and will have as her assistant another ex-national netballer in Kemba Duncan. The Championships take place in Botswana from July 8 to July 15.

The squad is expected to leave for England on June 25 where they will play a number of warm-up matches before travelling on to Botswana on July 4 and are expected to return home on July 17.

The Under-21 Calypso Girls have been drawn in Pool D which also includes England, Fiji, Wales and caribbean neighbours Grenada.

Before leaving, the Junior Calypso Girls will engage in fundraising and community engagements.
