TT to stage NACAC Age Group Champs

This international event will feature athletes in the heptathlon infantile A 13-14 age group and the pentathlon infantile B 11-12 age group.

Some of the countries expected to compete are TT , Jamaica, USA, Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic.

In the infantile A heptathlon 13-14 category, athletes must be born between January 1, 2003 and December 31, 2004.

The category will comprise events such as the 80-metre dash, long jump, high jump, baseball throw and shot put.

The infantile B pentathlon 11-12 category will feature athletes born between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2006.

Some of the events in the 11-12 category are the 60m dash, long jump, high jump and baseball throw.

The sponsors are National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB) and Blue Waters. Admission to the Championships is free.
