Beenie, Bounty perform together at Stadium
The event will highlight dancehall, reggae and soca genres featuring international and local artistes including Orlando Octave and Prophet Benjamin.
Bounty and Beenie will perform on the same stage together for the first time in Trinidad for a fulllength concert. The festival will have three stages – the main stage, the Hennessy Artiste Stage where local dancehall acts will be featured and the Stag Sound Stage for a DJs sound system shoot-out.
Beenie and Bounty will be joined by Wayne Wonder and Aidonia on the main stage. This main stage promises energy, showmanship and a bit of nostalgia, according to the promoters.
Dubbed as a festival of “Peace, Love and Sound”, the festival’s vision is to create a platform for the local artistes to share the stage with some of the dancehall and reggae legends, said a media release.
The Hennessy Artiste Stage will showcase a range of local artistes who have been influenced by dancehall music to create their own style and genre. It will feature acts such as M1, S Carter, Pternsky, Orlando Octave, Prophet Benjamin, Mark Hardy, Yung Rudd and more.
The concept of the Sound stage will highlight where the Fully Loaded brand began in early 2000 with the DJs and sound systems.
This stage will feature some of the region’s legendary DJs/ sound systems in a shoot-out.
Patrons are promised a festival-type experience with the “best talent from the music industry in a creative and visually appealling environment.”
