Craziness at my workplace
How can management expect employees to perform their duties diligently in a building when it’s structure is crumbling, bearing in mind that the bosses are relocating members of staff from another branch to this office and housing them in an area where the flooring is shaky, the steps are falling down and there are only two toilets with 95 percent of the staff females. As if this is not bad enough, there is no fire escape “upstairs”.
I would like to suggest that the next time OSHA officers visit this office the general manager shows them the entire office and not just the parts.
Secondly, for the past five to six years employees’ salaries have not changed and management’s excuse is “we don’t have any money or bear with us until the end of the year.” Yet at the same time new employees are being hired and paid more than those required to train them.
To add insult to injury, lower- level employees have to do all the work, and every Monday morning something new is added to their work portfolio.
All the craziness that goes on in this company is totally unacceptable.
