CCMB is volume leader in trading on Stock Exchange

Capital and Credit Merchant Bank Limited (CCMB) has emerged as volume leader in trading, on the TT Stock Exchange Market. Active trading in 16 securities produced a total of 600,773 shares, for a corresponding market value of $3.66 million. CCMB was the most heavily traded security with 214,165 shares changing hands. National Commercial Bank (Jamaica) Limited saw 140,862 shares traded, while BWIA (WI) Airways Limited followed closely behind with 102, 500 shares.

The Main Board saw a total of four movements, with three of them being positive. The largest of the three was a $0.50 increase by Barbados Shipping and Trading Company limited to $24.00. ANSA McAl Limited ended up $0.10 on $41.10, and First Caribbean International Bank limited added $0.01 to its previous day’s close, to end at $13.02. The only decline of the day was suffered by RBTT Financial Holdings Limited, whose price retreated $0.20 to $41.00. The All TT Index went down 0.97 points to close at 1,290.11, however the Composite Index closed 0.01 points higher on 1,074.61.
