Miss World TT talent contest tonight

Eight finalists will perform before the judges from 6pm at City Hall Auditorium, San Fernando.

Co-ordinator of the event Vanessa Manoo-Sahatoo said organisers will be searching for the top model and the best talent as the organisation hosts its Tea Party, Talent and Top Model competition (3T’s) in San Fernando.

Contestants will model the latest fashions from Kooti’s Boutique of Couva and Zaad and Eastman designs of Point Fortin.

Mayor of San Fernando Junia Regrello is the guest of honour and will assist in crowning winners at the end of this show.

During a recent visit to the mayor’s office by the delegates, an agreement was signed to host the talent competition at City Hall.

Regrello complimented pageant director Sahatoo-Manoo for her work in preparing contestants for the pageant.

Going with the theme Beauty with Purpose, each delegate will be involved in a charitable cause in the lead up to the final show.

The delegates participated in the Miss Fitness contest on May 26 at South Park in San Fernando and also took part in the a workshop titled Product Promotion at the Organic Lounge at the same venue.

Sahatoo-Manoo said the finals of the competition will take place at Central Bank Auditorium later this year.

Tickets for the talent show cost $200 each and are available from members of the City Corporation and The Organic Lounge of Southpark and Gulf City
