Maloney man dies in accident

At about 5.30 am, Anthony Singh, 40, of Building 10, Maloney was awaiting transportation to go to work near the Maloney intersection of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway when a delivery truck crashed into a maxi taxi which in turn hit him throwing him into a nearby drain.

Singh was taken to the Arima hospital where he died shortly after.

Singh’s mother was said to be inconsolable on receiving the news as he was her only child and lived with her in Maloney.
