Flying Fish vacation camp
Camp activities include structured swim instruction (with certificates issued at the end of the camp), team water sports, spoken word, dance, photography, nature walks, films, craft, cookery, activities teaching national pride and outings.
The camp runs from July 10 to August 18 from 9 am - 3.30pm for campers five - 15 years.
“We believe that everyone in Trinidad should be able to swim and the Flying Fish Swim Club is doing its part,” said Dexter Browne, the club’s aquatic director.
“School vacation is a wonderful time to learn to swim or brush up on your technique, and of course there’s the added fun of being outdoors, in water.” Registration for the camp is ongoing from 9am to 7pm on a first-come basis at the Flying Fish Swim Club, 19 Jamaica Boulevard, Federation Park.
