Special Olympics National Cricket Games today
The event, which is hosted by Special Olympics of Trinidad and Tobago (SOTT ) and runs from 9 am to 3 pm, is free to the public.
The Games will see representation from the Lady Hochoy Homes (Arima, Penal and Gasparillo), the Happy Haven School from Tobago, the Tobago School for the Deaf, Speech and Language Impaired, The National Centre for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD), Palmera’s Learning Centre and the Memisa Vocational School.
The teams will be looking to dethrone Lady Hochoy, Penal, which claimed the first prize at last year’s Games.
Coaches and volunteers from both the Special Olympics and the Digicel Foundation will be in attendance to facilitate the smooth running of the Games.
