$100,000 bail for woman accused of child abuse

Beverly David, 37, of Russo Lane, Wallervale, Guaico was granted bail in the sum of $100,000 but was taken to the Women’s Prison as no one had posted bail for her.

Should she be able to raise the bail, she would be required to report to the Sangre Grande Police Station once a week.

Newsday was told the child is in the care of his paternal relatives.

David is scheduled to return to court on July 18.
