More questions than answers

The Prime Minister on more than one occasion during the press conference was at pains to point out that as Prime Minister and head of the National Security Council he would have information that people in TT would not have.

If so, was it only when he was at President’s House that he became aware of a particular individual present, which no doubt caused him to leave the function after the official photographs were taken and try to contact McDonald? Does this mean that had this individual not been present for the ceremony the PM, as head of the National Security Council and who one would think would have had background checks on people to be appointed Cabinet ministers, would have no problem with the appointment? It may be wise for the Prime Minister to now do proper background checks on all his ministers and senators to avoid any other embarrassments.
