Elbourne, Hoyte, Williams golden at Cycling Champs

Elbourne won gold in the boys Under-9 scratch and keirin events. Shameka Hoyte won the same events in the girls Under-9 category, finishing ahead of her club-mate Renee Fortune in both races.

In the girls Under-11 category, Williams was victorious in the scratch and keirin events.

Ryan D’Abreau (Arima Wheelers) and Makayla Hernandez (Madonna) continued their dominance in the tinymite category.

D’Abreau and Hernandez won the scratch, keirin and points race in the boys and girls categories respectively.

Team events also took place on the closing day. A combined Arima Wheelers/Madonna team won the tinymite boys team sprint. In the youth developers category, Open Road Challenge A (Williams/Shemiah Hoyte) won the girls team sprint, while the Rigech Sonics A team of Mosi Williamson, Kersheve Paul and Judah Neverson won the boys team sprint.

Javon Ramroop joined Williamson, Paul and Neverson to lead Sonics A to gold in the youth developers boys team sprint. The Open Road trio of Williams, Shemiah Hoyte and Shemeka Hoyte won the youth developers girls team pursuit.

Boys Under-7 Keirin: 1.Elisha Greene Jr (Phoenix); 2.Liam Wilson (Arima Wheelers); 3.Jeduthun Henry (Sonics).

Boys Under-11 Keirin: 1.Judah Neverson (Sonics); 2.Javon Ramroop (Sonics); 3.Amari Dollaway (Arima Wheelers).

Boys Under-13 Keirin: 1.Mosi Williamson (Sonics); 2.Hasani Garnes (Madonna); 3.Kersheve Paul (Sonics).

Girls Under-13 Keirin: 1.Jamilah Williams (Madonna); 2.Alexia Wilson (Arima Wheelers).
