Call for parent-school cooperation

In a release, the association stated that too many parents abandoned their responsibility toward their children and do not respond to urgent requests by principals and teachers to visit their children’s school to discuss strategies to deal with deviance.

The association stated it was only through the collaborative effort of teachers and parents that society can rid itself of “this great evil which is developing and assuming cancerous proportion.” The society is in danger, according to the association, and it believes obsession with materialism is threatening the fabric of society.
