‘Pres’ hold upper hand in final
The Chaguanas team won the toss yesterday and batting first they made 210 all out, mainly through a well-played innings of 67 by national youth batsman Adrian Barath.
Jairaj Dilraj also contributed 28 in the Presentation College total.
For St Mary’s Valmiki Maharaj took five wickets for 59 runs. Visham Permasar also bagged two for 29.
At the close St Mary’s College were in some trouble closing at 63 for the loss of four wickets. Doing the damage for presentation was Deron David who grabbed two late wickets for 29.
At the crease for St Mary’s is Nicholas Alexis unbeaten on 32 while Luke Balwant is still to get off the mark.
