TSTT, Digicel help Arima

Nancis said he was surprised when he finally received a call and correspondence from TSTT stating that the company will be contributing $50,000 to Arima Carnival. He said he was surprised but accepted the donation in good faith.

Deputy Mayor and Chairman of Arima Carnival Committee, Ricard Hernandez Bharath, said he “kept to his promise and as all can see thousands of dollars were given out to masqueraders and steelbands this year.” Hernandez said that he is certain that next year’s Carnival celebrations in Arima would be bigger and brighter as word will pass by the winners about the prizes they received.
