Motion to show ‘The Look’

“The Look 2006” takes place today at Queen’s Hall, Port-of-Spain and will feature top international hair stylists Audrey Wells, Vivian Bennet and Kymberlie Smith. There will be a special guest whose appearance will definitely excite hairdressers.

The Motions team of top stylists is very excited to share the newest and hottest styling techniques from the USA, as well as their tips on successful salon marketing.

They will also demonstrate new and creative ways to use some of Motions newest products, like Motions Salon Herbals and Motions Weightless. Audrey Wells returns as the main commentator and educator for The Look 2006. She has a wealth of experience in the hair show arena and over 24 years in the beauty industry. She has travelled extensively and is known as “The Expert” for Motions’ popular website, motionshair.com.

Motions has promised that The Look 2006 will be a hair show with a difference, mainly because it is the first time Motions will be sharing the stage with Schwarzkopf.

Schwarzkopf is a line of professional hair-care products which is set to create exciting new stylish trends for hair colour, particularly with the launch of Viviance, a new line of colour for relaxed hair.

First-timer to Trinidad, Misael Aponte is Schwarzkopf’s leading platform artist and colour visionary.

His reputation for combining creativity with education has made him one of the most recognisable figures in the hair industry in the USA.

Aponte has delivered many exciting stage presentations at large hair shows across the USA, such as The International Hair Colour Exchange in Dallas and the Energising Summit in Los Angeles.

He has also been critically acclaimed in several hair and fashion magazines, including Hair Colour and Design and Salon City magazines.

Aponte will be featured as a special guest hair artiste at The Look 2006, along with top local stylist Ashvin Bally.

Audiences can expect a day filled with excitement, pageantry, drama and colour, inspired by our own Alyson Brown. The day begins at 10 am.
