HCL donates 100 books
The stories titled “Tilly the Turtle” and “Carlton and the Dolphin” have been designed to begin at opposite ends of the book and feature creatures commonly observed in the waters surrounding Trinidad and Tobago. The moral of these tales encourage children and adults alike to be environmentally conscious and to preserve the environment.
HCL’s contribution to the schools and NALIS forms part of its commitment to the nation’s youth through education and is grounded in the group’s philosophy of building integrated communities, according to a media release from the group.
HCL has recently begun work on its primary school at Trincity Millennium Vision and the construction of pre-schools also planned for the near future.
