Aranjuez ground problems but PYM football underway

To date, ten teams have been registered for action in the Over-40 Division vying for over $15,000 in prize money.

Teams registered are: Moosai’s Sports, North/Eastern Police, Crab Connection, Agent Orange, Sweaters, Wee Ting, San Juan San Juan, Carenage United, one love and TSTT Sports. But despite the kick-off, the league still face the problems of uneven fields. According to PYM president Bissoon Birsingh, it is his understanding the San Juan/Laventille Regional Corporation approved the allocation for the repair of the grounds, but there has been no action taken so far.

He said a letter was sent to Prime Minister Patrick Manning seeking his assistance in the matter, and for the completion of facilities at the pavilion, including the installation of water, lighting, changing rooms and toilets/bathrooms and the re-painting of the upper floor.
