‘Our Journey’ to start at Queen’s Hall
Produced and directed by Sheldon Narine aka Crazy Catholic the local play depicts scenes and happenings in Trinidad as it would relate to the scenes taking place in India.
Narine has been involved in drama since 1984 and is known for doing clean comedy and wholesome family entertainment. He has given theatre lovers 30 full-length plays including blockbusters ‘Robin Hood,’ ‘Cinderella,’ ‘Comedian Can Cook,’ ‘Tears from the Sty,’ ‘My Three Sons,’ ‘Nativity,’ ‘Compassion,’ ‘The Catcher,’ ‘No Love’ and ‘Beat Street.’
Narine said this production is done in commemoration of the 161st anniversary of Indian Arrival day in TT. The actors include Marsha Woodley, Varune Rampersad and Narine himself. The set is being designed by Cindy Rodriguez with lighting by Samuel Moyen, and sound by Mark Singh.
Tickets cost $80 general admission, $100 special reserved.
