Top artistes for Child Welfare fund-raiser

The third edition of this annual event takes place on Sunday at the Arouca Anglican Primary School and the Arouca branch has put together a spectacular show that involves drama and musical entertainment.

Those who will be contributing their time and talent to the occasion include actors Penelope Spencer (Mary Could Dance, Jean and Dinah), Nikki Crosby (The 40 year Old Virgin, Pyjama Party), Debra Boucaud Mason (Pillow Talk, Kiss The Girls and Make Her . . .), Mairoon Ali (This Thing Called Love, The Naked Truth), Conrad Parris (Pillow Talk, Steel) and rapso sensation 3 Canal.

The group will perform a repertoire of their popular hits including “Ben Lion,” “Happy Song,” “Blue” and “Talk Yuh Talk.”

Gayelle’s Marcia Henville will host the evening programme which begins at 3 pm and ends at 6 pm. Patrons can have their tea plates for a donation of $40.

The Trinidad and Tobago Child Welfare League is a non-profit charitable organisation and its main work involves helping families who are less advantaged with a particular emphasis on needy children.
